I am a Los Angeles-based freelance writer, producer and photographer. I have produced, written and directed over 75 hours of non-fiction television for ABC, Discovery, PBS, Bravo, MSNBC and A&E. I worked on the documentary series Intervention for two years, during which the show won an Emmy Award in 2009 for “Outstanding Reality Program” and a PRISM award. I am an active member of both the Writers Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America.
I am always looking for new opportunities to write and create meaningful stories that connect with people. My background includes more than 15 years of experience across a wide variety of mediums: independent film, interactive media and most recently, unscripted television. I value my ongoing relationships with both colleagues and clients. As a lifelong learner, I keep up to date with emerging storytelling technologies and techniques to communicate with audiences across multiple platforms.
In my latest series, I connect with creative women who make things, many of whom are on their second career. I take environmental portraits of them in their workspace. Afterwards, we have a conversation about their career trajectories and how they got to where they are today. This series offers an in-depth look at the intersection of women, creativity, family and career.
